Media & Celebrity Advocacy
JUCCCE actively works on building consumer awareness through media and celebrity advocacy.
Before 2010, green was not a consumer issue but a government responsibility. Buoyed by the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and the Shanghai Expo in 2010, JUCCCE's targeted efforts paid off in 2010; China reached a major inflection point during which all the top consumer magazines featured green issues or cover stories.
JUCCCE trained a top Chinese actress (Li Bingbing), supermodel (Du Juan), and singer (Cheng Lin) on green advocacy. To date, we have spread the "go green" message in press features within major Chinese consumer magazines, ultimately reaching over 20,000,000 people.
Our founder Peggy Liu has been labeled "China's Green Goddess" by Global Times and The Diplomat and was featured as a role model in Elle, L'Officiel, Good Houskeeping and throughout international press. See our list of media and press here.
