TEDx Christchurch Talk on JUCCCE
JUCCCE chairperson, Peggy Liu, was invited to speak at the TEDxChCh event held on October 22nd 2010 in Christchurch, New Zealand. The theme, On the Shoulders of Giants, allowed speakers to share their sources of information and inspiration with the audience, and further inspire these audience members to take their own ideas to the world.
Peggy spoke alongside 10 other visionaries, including the General Manager of Sustainability at Fonterra, the CEO of Worldview Learning, and the founder of YikeBike.
At this event, Peggy’s talk presented China as the Cleantech Laboratory of the World. She engaged the audience by exploring China’s changing position from its familiar image as the Factory of the World. Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of collaboration with China in order to bring affordable and sustainable solutions to the world.
