Speaking to Mark the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition

Chefs from the world’s top restaurant, Noma, cooked for a dinner hosted by Jamie Oliver and the Eat Forum to coincide with the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York. In her capacity as JUCCCE Chairperson and Advisor to the EAT Forum, Peggy Liu spoke the following day at a conference to mark the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition.

It was a major honor for JUCCCE to be represented at this event alongside UN Good Will Ambassadors, government ministers, heads of state and the Directors-General of the World Health Organisation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation. The Decade of Nutrition began in 2016 and will run until 2025. It aims to intensify action to end hunger and malnutrition worldwide and ensure access to healthier and more sustainable diets for all people. Implementation will be led by the World Health Organisation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation.
