Peggy speaks at Girl Scouts' World Thinking Day
The Girl Scouts’ World Thinking Day was held in Shanghai on February 29th. JUCCCE Chairperson Peggy Liu spoke to 150 girl scouts and their parents about how they each could make a difference in the world.
As a former girl scout, she presented a message on JUCCCE’s clean energy mission interweaved with humorous interjections and stores. “When I showed them some of my fashion spreads and said don't believe all the press you read and no-one actually looks like they do in fashion photos, both the kids and moms laughed."
She led the girl scouts in planting bulbs in recycled cartons. It was inspirational for many of the girl scouts to see an influential leader like Peggy engage them in her environmental goals.
